The WiSys SPARK Symposium is an annual celebration of the best and brightest faculty, staff, students and alumni in the UW System.
The competition was established to connect the Wisconsin entrepreneurial ecosystem to University of Wisconsin students with the goal to help students think critically about their business ideas and implement lean business methodologies. Leading up to this statewide competition, students received mentorship from campus and statewide entrepreneurship experts.
WiSys Quick Pitch, which is a research-focused student pitch competition, will be featured at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research when the major conference is hosted by UW-Eau Claire in April.

WiSys awarded 52 UW System students with an “Innovative Thinking” credential for completing a five-week learning experience in the 2022 fall semester.
The WiSys Spark Grant program, with awards of $500 to $10,000 per project, supports faculty, academic staff and student research projects at regional UW System campuses.
