WiSys Innovation On-Ramp™

WiSys Innovation On-Ramp™ is a multi-week learning experience and pitch competition that gives UW-Green Bay students a chance to learn innovation skills or advance their ideas—regardless of their field or goal.

Stressing mentorship, networking and building an innovation skill set, students (as a team or individually) can earn a resume-boosting innovation badge by participating in the learning experience and exposure and prize money for presenting in the capstone pitch competition. Participation in the pitch competition is optional.

Read the FAQ for more background about participating.

The Learning Experience

The learning experience runs through the month of February 2022 as a Canvas course. EACH MONDAY, a video drops into the Canvas course. EACH WEDNESDAY, an interactive session (in-person and virtual) will expand on the video’s content.

  • Week 1 (Feb. 7): Identifying a Problem
  • Week 2 (Feb. 14): Developing an Innovative Solution
  • Week 3 (Feb. 21): Defining Your Market
  • Week 4 (Feb. 28): Practicing Your Pitch

If you complete the Canvas course and attend at least one interactive session, you will receive a WiSys Innovation Thinking Badge—a great resume booster.
