Wisconsin Big Idea Tournament gives student entrepreneurs opportunity to win up to $54,000 for their business ideas

This year, WiSys Technology Foundation partnered with the UW-Extension to expand and enhance the Wisconsin Big Idea Tournament (WBIT), a UW System student entrepreneurship competition where the winner goes on to compete on an international stage. The competition will be held April 22 at the Discovery Building in Madison and is open to the public.

WiSys Technology Foundation welcomes new Regional Associate for northeastern Wisconsin campuses

With a diverse background in the theory of science and technology management, Mads Dahl Gjefsen will join WiSys Technology Foundation as the organization’s newest Regional Associate. Gjefsen will use his expertise to help outreach and development efforts at UW-Green Bay, UW Oshkosh, UW-Stevens Point and the two-year UW Colleges in the northeastern part of the state.

WiSys wraps up 8th Annual WSTS, congratulates competition winners

The 8th Annual Wisconsin Science & Technology Symposium, held at UW-River Falls this year, was a resounding success. A record 207 attendees with more than 100 students enjoyed scientific presentations, panel discussions and networking activities throughout the two-day conference.
