WiSys welcomes 14 new student ambassadors

Fourteen students from across the UW System will join WiSys' team September 1 as part of the WiSys Ambassador Program, which aims to enhance connections between WiSys and the research community on each campus. The program was started last year to strengthen WiSys' outreach efforts, increasing the company's presence and visibility in the UW System.

The new WiSys Ambassadors are:

  • From UW-Eau Claire: Samantha Anderson, Tomas Benzo and Eric Miller
  • From UW-La Crosse: Marcus Lowe and Rachel Neve
  • From UW-Oshkosh: Sara Arafeh and Adam Kositzke
  • From UW-Platteville: Zen Abbey, Joshua Dust and Joshua Inglett
  • From UW-Stout: Tabitha Payne and Daniel Weispfenning
  • From UW-Superior: Randy Bender
  • From UW-Whitewater: Bishop Freeman

After receiving training in Intellectual Property and the technology transfer process, each new ambassador will spend five to 10 hours per month working to improve connections between their fellow students and academics with WiSys.
