WSTS is a two-day UW System-focused research and innovation symposium. This year it will be held at UW-Stout.

WSTS was formerly known as the Wisconsin Science and Technology Symposium but now goes solely by the letters WSTS. The name was changed in order to be more inclusive and reflect the broader scope of research being done throughout the UW System.

WiSys is a nonprofit organization that works with faculty, staff, students and alumni of the UW System to facilitate cutting-edge research programs, develop and commercialize discoveries, and foster a spirit of innovative and entrepreneurial thinking across the state.
