WiSys Big Idea Tournament At-Large Bids

At-Large Submissions Period: February 5 - April 1, 2024

The at-large round is designed for teams who do not have access to a local qualifier or teams that did not win their qualifier to have a second chance at participating in the tournament.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Undergraduate and graduate students attending any two- or four-year Universities of Wisconsin school across the state (except UW-Madison) are encouraged to compete in the WiSys Big Idea Tournament, as long as they are enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits in the Spring 2024 semester. Teams may be comprised of one to four members.

To apply to the WiSys Big Idea Tournament At-Large Round, you need to:

  1. Create a video presentation (no longer than 6 minutes) describing the customer discovery and validation you have been through with your idea and business model. You may use PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi or any other presentation software. The presentation needs to be narrated and saved as a video file. Successful submission videos can take on many formats, but we have put together a few guidelines to help you in crafting your video.

  2. Upload your video to YouTube (If you want to keep your video hidden, mark it as "unlisted" NOT "private." Only someone logged into your account can watch your videos marked private).

  3. Complete the submission form by April 1, 2024.

  4. Indicate that your team understands and agrees to the items outlined in the Certifications and Agreements Form.
