Jeff Buhrandt

Jeff Buhrandt is the Vice President for University Relations at UW System. Jeff previously served in a variety of roles at UW System, most recently as Associate Vice President for Government Relations. The Office of University Relations manages media, government, corporate, and community relations on behalf of the UW System.
Jeff began his career working for long-time northern Wisconsin Congressman Dave Obey, after which he moved to Madison and worked in the Wisconsin State Sente for eight years before joining System Administration in 2014. Jeff is a Wisconsin native, has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
