WiSys, UW System award Applied Research Grants to UW faculty

UW System Administration awarded 16 UW faculty and academic staff with Applied Research Grants, funding to encourage the application of expertise and scholarship to Wisconsin's economic development.

Among the recipients are Charles Cornett and Joseph Wu of UW-Platteville for their continued development of a WiSys owned technology that tests for illicit drugs.

Wisconsin Science & Technology Symposium 2015 speakers Yijun Tang (of UW-Oshkosh), Robert McGaff (of UW-La Crosse), Mohammad Rabbani (of UW-Platteville), John Droske (of UW-Stevens Point) and Gokul Gopalakrishman (of UW-Platteville) also received grants for their research.
