VibeTech, a WiSys startup, was founded by Jeff Leismer, who discovered vibrations can not only stimulate bone growth, but also strengthen weak muscles. Over 15 years and through three patents, the Sheboygan startup moved from focusing on technology that could help astronauts maintain bone density in space to that which could help patients in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and nursing homes.
