WARF's Iverson doubles funding to bolster the "Wisconsin Idea"

Erik Iverson, the managing director of the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) recently announced that he would be doubling funding in start-ups to help further support the university innovators who back the Wisconsin Idea. Iverson's passion for creating sustainable jobs in Wisconsin, growing the state's economy, and providing revenue for the university has helped to influence his decision.

Iverson also hopes to work more closely with campuses across the state to coordinate efforts in healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, and many other fields, to ultimately advance Wisconsin's entrepreneurial mindset as well as the economy.

WARF is currently reaching out to WiSys to help accelerate the process and strengthen the entrepreneurial community.
