With a clientele located across the state of Wisconsin, and its main premises in the University Research Park in Madison, WiSys has an abundance of territory to cover. Accordingly, the WiSys Regional Associate program was created to establish and maintain strong relationships with campus innovators across the UW System. The Regional Associates will work closely with WiSys personnel to support research and technology development and link campus innovators to WiSys research and development grant programs.
Regional Associates will be on campus weekly to meet one-on-one with innovators – both new and existing – as well as give presentations to deparments, colleges and student groups.
WiSys has three Regional Associates. Brian Walsh serves the Central and East Central region of the state with primary responsibilities at UW-Green Bay, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Steven Point and the seven two-year Colleges in the region which include: UW-Marinette, UW-Manitowoc, UW-Sheboygan, UW-Fond du Lac, UW-Fox Valley, UW-Marathon County, and UW-Marshfield/Wood County.
