Organic Polymers with Ultra-Small Pores for Carbon Dioxide Separation, Capture, and Conversion

WiSys is seeking a strategic partner that operates in the field of carbon capture who is interested in accessing WiSys’ novel organic polymers with ultra-small pores for use in the sequestration and/or utilization of carbon dioxide from gas mixtures.  WiSys is also seeking a partner to assist in the continued development of membranes that incorporate the novel organic polymers.

Novel Transparent Dilatant Materials Comprised of a Single Chemical Component

WiSys is seeking a strategic partner in material science or the protective equipment industry who is interested in furthering the development of novel transparent dilatant materials comprised of single chemical component, ultimately providing a path to market for their use.

Skin Whitening Agent(s)

WiSys Technology Foundation is currently seeking a strategic industry partner to assist in the further development of its lead compound, A11, and related analogues providing a route to market for their use as novel skin whitening/lightening agents. The competitive advantage of these compounds over existing agents on the market is that they produce long-acting and reversible skin lightening with no toxicity.

High Accuracy Angle Measuring Device for Industrial, Medical, Scientific or Recreational Use

WiSys Technology Foundation is seeking a strategic partner to further develop, manufacture, market, and distribute a high accuracy rotary (angle) encoder. This device has the advantages of high single-reading accuracy (±0.1 arc seconds) and high average reading sensitivity (0.001 arc seconds), low production cost, compact design, and low power consumption. Possible applications include but are not limited to astronomical telescope mounts, land surveillance tools, industrial inspection and calibration, machine tools, medical devices, as well as robotics.

Novel 3-D Powder Refractory Materials for Investment Casting

WiSys is currently seeking strategic partners in the 3D printing and material supply industry that are interested in accessing and commercializing its patented process and associated recipes for refractory molds for the investment casting industry.

Compostable Thermoset Polymers

UW-Stevens Point researcher, John Droske, has developed a series of novel biodegradable polymers for use in the healthcare and plastics industry. WiSys is currently seeking a strategic partner to further development this technology and provide a route to market for its commercialization.
