WiSys Quick Pitch winners honored among nine additional scholarship recipients at UW Oshkosh

At UW Oshkosh's 25th annual Celebration of Scholarship and Creativity, ten students were named recipients of various Outstanding Research and Creative Activity awards. Among these ten students, two students were recognized for their participation in the WiSys Quick Pitch Competition: Jeshanah Zolowski and Madeline Hass. Zolowski, a senior majoring in chemistry and mathematics, received first place honors for Mathematicians Inside Your Body while Hass, a sophomore majoring in German, history and philosophy, took second place for Suicide in the Paradigm of Indefinitely Extended Life. 

Additional winners include Klaire Laux and Molly Schumacher for Outstanding Graduate Research and Creative Activity; Karsen Daus, Alyssa Herman, Nicholas Pierson, and Edward Uttendorfer for Outstanding Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity; and Blair Braun and Amy Hodel for the Clow Social Science Undergraduate Award.
