Hundreds of faculty and student researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs from across the University of Wisconsin System will convene at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for the WiSys SPARK Symposium, Aug. 6-8.
The WiSys Spark Grant program, with awards of $500 to $10,000 per project, supports faculty, academic staff and student research projects at regional UW System campuses.
The award recognizes UW System leaders, faculty, staff, students or community partners who have played an integral role in building a culture of innovation at a UW System regional institution.
The WiSys SPARK Symposium is where research, innovation and entrepreneurship collide. The annual event brings together the best and brightest faculty, staff, students and alumni from the across the UW System to network, collaborate and celebrate great ideas.

The award, which comes with one-time grants to pursue a project in their field of study, recognizes UW System faculty for their extraordinary efforts in support of undergraduate research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
