David Brukardt

David Brukardt has three decades of higher education and corporate management experience with global organizations and entrepreneurial start-ups in Wisconsin and Washington state. Before joining UW System, Dave’s business experience included leadership roles in banking, energy, manufacturing, and mining. While in the Pacific Northwest, he held senior positions in both NYSE and NASDAQ traded companies and was elected chair of the Association of Washington Business (AWB), one of the nation’s leading state trade organizations. He also received bipartisan mayoral appointments to serve three terms on the board of directors of the Spokane International Airport, for which he led business development missions to Japan, South Korea, and China.
