The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is the second largest campus in the UW
System, with an enrollment of more than 25,000 students. It offers 87
undergraduate majors, 57 master's degree programs and 28 doctoral programs, and
has an annual research budget of approximately $30 million.
UW-Milwaukee's technology transfer office proactively searches for research
discoveries and programs with commercial potential in the school's chemistry,
biology, engineering and other science departments. UW-Milwaukee also is home to
a strong College of Engineering and Applied Science.
