Volume 5, Issue 3 - Winter 2009
Highlights include a celebration of undergraduate research, the announcement of the 2009 WiSys Innovation Scholar Awards, and a profile of UW-Whitewater Assistant Professor Elena Bertozzi. Also included in the Winter 2009 edition is the announcement of the 2010 WSTS location, UW-Green Bay, the announcement of two additional collaborative events: a Nanotechnology gathering, and a Medical Device event, and the offering of SBIR and STTR funding guidance from WEN.

This volume includes an overview of the 2009 Wisconsin Science & Technology Symposium held at UW-La Crosse, including announcement of a collaborative agreement between BayCare Health Systems and Wisys to jointly develop technologies and products for health care with UW System researchers. Also highlighed is UW-RF's Dr. Cheng-Chen Huang and his research on Zebrafish Heart Failure Models.
