In this newsletter we detail the recipients of the WiSys Technology Advancement Grant. UW-Stout announced the 2007 Nelva G. Runnalls Research Support Award Recipient to be Maliyakal John, Managing Director of Wisys. There is also information on WiCell, UW-Stevens Point's new atomic force microscope, WEN, Marshfield Clinic, and Richard Mikat's (UW-La Crosse) body fat analysis invention. Jonathan Fritz of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, S.C. gives an overview of public disclosure leading to loss of patent rights.
