WiSys Innovator, ARG recipient studies long-term refugee resettlement outcomes at UW Oshkosh

This school year, a group of UW Oshkosh students led by professor Paul Van Auken will examine the long-term outcomes of refugee resettlement in Wisconsin. The research team received an Applied Research Grant, administered by WiSys on behalf of the UW System, to conduct in-depth interviews with families and individuals who came to Wisconsin as refugees.

Specifically, the Van Auken's team will use a 56-question survey to investigate migration and resettlement factors such as services, economic factors, health, children and general experiences with relocating.
