The St. Croix Valley Business Innovation Center, created via a partnership between the River Falls Economic Development Corporation, UW-River Falls, the City of River Falls, and Chippewa Valley Technical College, is set to host an open house at 2:00pm on April 12th followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3:00pm. Sheila Harsdorf, the Wisconsin Agriculture Secretary, will be speaking at the event, as will the UW System Board of Regents President John Robert Behling.
The goal of the St. Croix Valley Business Innovation Center is to provide up and coming businesses with the means to create networks with the university students, faculty, and staff to hopes of further developing their businesses. The UW-River Falls Center for Innovation and Business Development will work closely with the St. Croix Valley Business Innovation Center to help promote new partnerships and ceaseless innovation in the community through mentoring, business planning, access to software, financial advisory services and many other resources.
