The App Factory, a program that provides design, development and maintenance support for startup software at UW-Parkside, received support for work on WiSys-approved projects conducted by faculty, staff and students.
WiSys committed to supporting the App Factory so that the program could grow and be recognized as a valuable resource for mobile app development projects emanating out of the UW System and further afield. All WiSys funds are to be used for intellectual property generating projects
and funding will go toward helping the App Factory retain student
developers.
