Governor Scott Walker last week appointed two new members to the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents. The appointments, subject to approval in the state senate, are for two of the 14 citizen board members, who each serve seven year terms. The board consists of four non-citizen members as well.

Atwell is the chairman and chief executive of a U.S. regional bank holding company in Green Bay. Jones and Atwell will replace board members whose terms are up in May and, like the rest of the board, will serve without pay.
