Throughout the more than 30 years since completing his professional training, Dr. Thompson has proven to be a leader in health care, energy and community, as well as the intersection of those fields.
Dr. Thompson received the 2013 White House Champion of Change Award for his impactful work in environmental stewardship, which also contributed to Gundersen Health System being the first health system to achieve energy independence in October 2014.

As always, the cost of the evening networking event is just $15, which includes dinner, refreshments and entertainment. Scholarships from UW System cover the cost of the evening event for all UW students.
