Strategic Revenue Development and Fundraising

In the first day of this two-day, Developing your Revenue Model, participants will gain the information and help necessary to develop a solid business and revenue plan by investigating the Mission/Margin Matrix; considering revenue diversity, earned income, social enterprise, UBIT, and PILOT. It will also provide an understanding of why people give, using Program Logic as a means of generating revenue and ethical issues in fundraising and working with donors.

The second day, Developing your Case for Support, forms the skeleton of all fundraising and marketing for your organization including grant proposals, direct mail, brochures, etc. This seminar will look at researching the need and developing written text that provides logical and emotionally based motives for giving. It will also consider program evaluation and reporting on outcomes and impact as a component of that case for support and the motivations for giving.
